New York City Car Rental and the Smoke Jazz Club
Get ready to tap your feet and bob your head with your New York City car rental company NYC Exotic Car Rental. It all began on April 9, 1999 when the now famous Smoke, Jazz Club and Cocktail first opened its doors. The entire concept of the Smoke Jazz Club including came from two people, Paul Stache and Frank Christopher. Formerly known as Augie's Jazz Bar, the Smoke Jazz Club has been carrying the strong tune of jazz for over 20 years. Augie's Jazz Bar had been going through financially hard times for a while. Finally in the summer of 1998 its doors close. Paul and Frank saw the opportunity and potential of the jazz cub and pooled their savings into buying the jazz bar. During the five months after the change in ownership Paul and Frank where busy giving the jazz bar a much needed facelift. What resulted was a huge and dramatic transformation. Antique chandeliers hang above the tables where people can talk intimately with the soft glow of candlelight. The mahogany cocktail tables, red velvet curtains, and red velvet upholstered barstools - this type of grand dcor had not been seen before in a Jazz bar but it was accepted by the customers with much approval. The Smoke Jazz Club was not all about the frills either. The room was especially designed to allow the music to project and make the best sound possible.
