Helpful Information
LaGuardia Airport in New York City actually has sections; if you are flying to New York from anywhere within the US, or are planning on flying to another US city from New York, you're looking for the Queens LaGuardia located off of the Grand Central Parkway. This section of the airport handles all domestic flights to the US with the exception of Continental Airlines. The other section of LaGuardia (LGA) handles all international flights.
LaGuardia Airport is only about 8 miles from downtown New York and is very convenient for connections to JFK Airport If you are driving your New York rental car to the airport take the Grand Central Parkway to exit 7. This is where you will exit if you re looking for terminals A, B, C and D, the Delta Terminal or the US Airways Terminal. If you are looking for the Marine Air Terminal and the Delta Shuttle you will want to take exit 5 from the Grand Central Parkway.
There is short term parking offered for your New York Rental car at the LGA parking garages, or there are also several private parking facilities located very close to LGA. If you have already returned you're New York rental car and are taking a taxi to the airport, you should expect to pay a minimum of at least $20 travelling to, or from Manhattan. If you hit rush hour traffic (and when isn't there rush hour traffic in NYC?) you can except to pay
